Crafting The Quiver
The journey began with research. Accuracy is everything to us, and the first step was gathering as many references as possible. Film stills, behind-the-scenes images, production books, and photographs of the original props were all studied closely. In total, over 60 individual references were used to guide the creation of Susan’s Quiver.
The quiver itself was carefully recreated with meticulous attention to proportion, texture, and craftsmanship. Made from high-quality resin, every surface was refined to match the look and feel of the original movie prop. The buckles were recreated with the exact same design seen on screen and finished with real metal plating to achieve an authentic appearance.
One of the most important details was the strap work. The strap patterns were recreated 1:1 from the original production pattern, ensuring complete screen accuracy in both shape and stitching layout.
The greatest challenge, however, came with the arrows. During research, we discovered that Susan’s arrows in the films were not full-length arrows as many assume. Instead, the production used shortened arrows so they would sit perfectly inside the quiver bundle while maintaining the correct visual proportions on screen.
To stay fully accurate to the movies, we recreated these arrows at the same half-length proportions used in production. This allows the bundle to fit exactly as seen on screen and makes the quiver display truly authentic. While we also offer fully accurate full-length arrows separately, this shortened bundle is the only way to perfectly replicate the original movie-used look.

This replica is an Open Edition piece, meaning it is not restricted to a specific number of reproductions. However, as a small studio, Narnia Replica Props cannot guarantee that production will continue indefinitely. In the past, some products have been discontinued, which has led to disappointment for collectors.
